Fall Foliage Hand Made Thanksgiving Greeting Card

This fall foliage Thanksgiving card is so easy to make, you will want to send one to everyone in your address book. Only a few materials are needed. Instructions for assembling these cards are listed below along with links to background paper that can be used on the cards as well.

Supplies:

Plain greeting cards (my favorite is white or cream)

Gold or deep yellow cardstock

Fall foliage designed craft paper

Happy Thanksgiving stamps

Glue stick

Fabric leaf embellishment

Brown ink pad

Paper Trimmer or Scissors

Instructions:

1. Start by covering the front of your cards with the leaf design craft paper. Adhere paper to card with glue stick.

2. Next, cut a 1" strip, the horizontal length of your card from the scrap paper. I used yellow in the examples above.

3. Stamp "Happy Thanksgiving" yellow cardstock strip that you just cut using the image above as a guide. Adhere strip to card.

4. Adhere the fabric leaf embellishment to the top of the card using a glue stick, hot glue gun or glue zots.

5. Add an extra touch by putting a stamped design on the seal of the envelope.
