Use Photos to Create Christmas Greeting Cards

If you are like me, you have oodles of scenery pictures laying around that you have taken with your camera or that you have collected from magazines, postcards, greeting cards, etc. Put those pictures to good use by using them on your holiday cards this year. Only a few materials are needed for this card making idea. Instructions for assembling these cards are listed below along with a list of materials needed to make the card. You will also find a link to free printable scrapbook paper that can be used for a variety of paper craft projects including card making.

Supplies:

Plain greeting cards (I used navy blue in this example)

Scenic photo or holiday themed craft paper

Complimentary colored scrap paper ( I used dark grey in this example)

Glue stick

Ink pad (I used black in this example)

Seasons Greetings stamp

Paper Trimmer or Scissors

Instructions:

1. Start by covering the approximately three quarters of the card with your photo image..

2. Next, stamp your holiday greetings image on the plain piece of scrap paper. Adhere the scrap paper to the right of the photo.

3. Stamp or write your holiday greetings message inside the card.

4. Add an extra touch by putting a stamped design on the seal of the envelope.
