Materials:

Plain greeting cards (my favorite is white or cream)

~Christmas/winter themed craft  paper

~Brown, green, white, yellow scrap paper

~Merry Christmas stamp

~Glue stick

~Brown ink pad

~Paper Trimmer or Scissors

Instructions:

1. Start by covering the front of your cards with Christmas/holiday themed craft paper. Adhere paper to card with glue stick.

2. Next, cut a 1" strip, the length of your card from the scrap paper. I used brown and white in the examples above. Adhere strip to card.

3. Stamp "Merry Christmas" on a light color cardstock such as cream or white using the brown ink pad. Cut out the stamped design.

4. Mat the stamped design using a complimentary color. I used green and brown in the examples above.

5. Adhere the matted "Merry Christmas" design to the right edge of the card, on top of the brown strip.

6. Add an extra touch by putting a stamped design on the seal of the envelope.
